Spring & Summer Accessories Roundup

With spring in full swing and summer quickly approaching I have been on the hunt for the best accessories for the warmer months ahead. No matter how amazing an outfit is, in my opinion it is never truly complete without the accompaniment of great accessories.  My absolute favorite thing about dressing in spring and summer months is the freedom to incorporate as many white pieces as my heart desires.  Be it jeans and a solid top or a maxi dress, throw in a statement maker like a fun white structured bag and your look is instantly elevated.

Check out our round up of our favorite spring and summer accessories below and let us know which are your favorites in the comments!

About McKenzie…

Hi! My name is McKenzie Lane and I am so excited to be collaborating with Maggie on the MOD Style. I cannot wait to share some of my thoughts and inspirations with you all via this chic creative space but I thought I should introduce myself beforehand!

I was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and always knew I would end up back in my hometown but I wasn’t sure when that would be or what I would be doing when that time came.

After graduating from TCU with a degree in public relations I took an internship in the fashion department at Modern Luxury Magazine in New York City and that’s what I consider to be the starting point in which I began to carve my path within the fashion industry.

After completing my internship I moved back to Texas to take a position as a photo shoot coordinator at Neiman Marcus before moving on to work in marketing for a clothing designer in Dallas. I then worked freelance with publication stylists going back and forth between Dallas and NYC all before finally settling back here in Amarillo.

Cut to today and I am so grateful that Maggie has given me the opportunity to contribute to the MOD Style. I always knew my career would be within fashion in some capacity and after gaining invaluable experience at my various positions over the years I am thrilled to be able to incorporate some of the things I have come to appreciate about fashion through my contributions to this {fashionable} blog.

As the saying goes, home really is where the heart is and it’s just an added bonus when you get to do something you love, from somewhere you love. Maggie said it best in her introduction – “cheers to trying something new and embracing a new journey.” I can’t wait to share more with you all!
